It's a great place to stay with kids because:
it's in the village but has great views over the countryside. Cottage is well equipped and even has a washing machine and tumble drier and table tennis table. The countryside is beautiful and there are limitless gentle walks for little 'uns, plus streams to play in and sheep to chase. Fantastic playground in the village and plenty of wet weather activities. Village has lots of pubs and two (small) supermarkets and Tesco will deliver if necessary.
What could be improved:
Steep steps require supervision for small children.
