It's a great place to stay with kids because:
there are so many unique activities for them to do and they didn't want to leave. There are no televisions in the rooms and it was great to get the kids away from them, letting them feed baby alpacas, fish for trout, see the condors and have a family cookery lesson. There were also some very pretty, rural villages around completely untouched by tourism and it was great for the children to experience this. The staff were also superb, and they were very welcoming to our boys. Everything was near perfect.
What could be improved:
the journey from Arequipa was quite long and rough. But that said it was a spectacular journey and there was plenty of wildlife to see on the way. The weather was also particularly wet when we arrived which meant we had to delay some of our activities but there was still plenty to do.
